I created this piece when I was a Social Media Ambassador and member of TRUSU Vietnamese Club. This piece depicts my personal style in making videos and how to engage the community through short video form. This Instagram reel is a collaboration between TRUSU Vietnamese Club and TruWorld, which clearly demonstrates how to promote Vietnamese culture in a way of engaging TRU community. Also, I made this piece to promote the Lunar New Year event for the TRUSU Vietnamese Club.
When it comes to the skills, I have used both creative and technical skills for this piece. I create a script, structure layout, and visual elements by myself. For the technical skills, I use Capcut to edit, such as doing voiceover, inserting images and background music.
My roles in this piece include creating the video, promoting the TRUSU Vietnamese Club’s event, collaborating with TruWorld Instagram, and engaging the TRU community. I finalize the video content, edit the video, and ensure the message is aligned with both Instagram’s pages.
